Principal's Message

The first two weeks of the school year have gone by like a whirlwind. As a new principal I was overjoyed to discover GAA has a wonderful faculty focused on starting the year with a united vision of educational excellence with Christian values. Our students are warm and friendly. This is indeed a lovely Christian family.

A parent shared with me at Back to School Night how excited she felt that her child was learning about the Armor of God in his classroom. Another parent testified to the fact that her child was sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with her family
members. Yet another parent told me that her child is considering being baptized in the very near future.

Our goals for the upcoming year include:
 Expanding our enrollment through the marketing of our school to constituent churches and the general community. Our home rooms will be adopting and visiting churches to showcase the talents of our students.
 Increasing our endowment base through reactivating our Alumni Association. We are starting a chapter of the association for the Glendale Adventist Academy campus and the Greater Glendale area as a catalyst for our fundraising drive for the year.
 Building strong bridges with Glendale Adventist Medical Center (our sister organization) and other corporate organizations and municipalities in the area for top of mind name recognition.
 Diversifying our strategy for recruiting international students by working with agencies with a strong track record of success in the field.

With the Holy Spirit as our Divine Helper, victory is assured. Our Superintendent
of Schools, our School Board and committee members, our faculty as well as
Home and School Association are all behind us for success. Our vision is to
make our school the best in the region in terms of spirituality, academic
excellence, and financially viability.

Robotics Program

Just a friendly reminder that robotics program is starting on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 3:30 - 5:00pm. The classroom is located under the gym. I need parent volunteers to help mentor the children. Your commitment to your child's involvement in FLL is crucial to his or her success in the program. FLL is a journey of self-discovery for everyone involved: team members, coaches, parents, and volunteers. Please consider mentoring your son or daughter's team. You'll be glad you did!

Dawn Rabello
