The 2012-2013 school year will bring exciting changes in the way students use technology at Glendale Academy. One of the first changes to occur will be the implementation of Google Apps as the primary office suite and email service for the school. Students will be able to create and access documents on any device with Google Apps, collaborate with their peers in real time, and freely communicate with other Apps users.
Google Apps for Education is a collection of Google services that is offered to schools free of charge. The core services offered include Google Docs, GMail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Sites, and Google Talk. Google Apps is a popular cloud-based productivity tool among schools and businesses alike.
We look forward to the rollout of Google Apps in the coming school year. We plan to further use technology to enhance the breadth and quality of education at GAA. Click on the link below for more information about Google Apps.
